REGULATION - REGLEMENT
The Pre65 Trial du Mont Panisel is open to motorcycles built before 1965 with a tolerance for some bikes built until 1967 (Greeves TGS, Bultaco 4 speed, ...). More modern bikes (Bultaco 5 speed, Montesa, Honda TL, …) or bikes without Pre65 spirit are not allowed at start. We know that many of you are riding improved Pre 65 motorcycles, and we welcome them. But we're also committed to preserving the Pre 65 spirit, so we ask you to enter in the appropriate category for your bike
Le Trial du Mont Panisel Pré65 est réservé aux motos construites avant 1965 avec une tolérance pour certaines machines construites jusqu'en 1967 (Greeves TGS, Bultaco 4 vitesses, ...). Les motos plus modernes (Bultaco 5 vitesses, Montesa, Honda TL, …) et les motos ne respectant pas l’esprit Pré65, ne sont pas admises au départ. Nous savons que beaucoup d’entre vous roulent sur des motos pré 65 améliorées, et nous les accueillons avec plaisir. Mais nous avons aussi à cœur de préserver l’esprit pré 65. C’est pourquoi nous vous demandons de vous inscrire dans la catégorie appropriée à votre moto.
Five motorcycle categories are distinguished / Cinq catégories de motos sont distinguées.
LS Lightweights or Specials - motos légères ou spéciales
Pré 65 Unit - bloc moteur less than / moins de 80 kg
Pré 65 Pre Unit - boîte de vitesses séparée less than / moins de 90 kg
Pré 65 avec pièces pas d’origine / with parts not genuine
Pré 67 (Greeves TGS, Bultaco 4 vit., …)
Toutes autres catégories ci-dessous avec pièces principales d’origine ou pré 65 / all other categories hereunder with main parts genuine or pre 65
G Girder fork - fourche à parallélogramme
R Rigid frame - cadre rigide
PU Pre Unit - boîte de vitesses séparée ( more than 90 kg – plus de 90 kg )
U Unit - bloc moteur ( more than 80 kg – plus de 80 kg )
Three routes are proposed / Trois parcours sont proposés:
Experts - 1/2 sections intermediate, 1/2 difficult - 1/2 moyennes, 1/2 difficiles
Gentlemen - 1/2 sections intermediate, 1/2 easy - 1/2 moyennes, 1/2 faciles
Historics - all very easy sections - toutes zones très faciles
Equipment - wearing a helmet is mandatory. A dress in accordance with the building time of the bike should be welcome. The jury will choose the most authentic equipage / Equipement - le port du casque est obligatoire. Un habillement contemporain à la moto est souhaité; le jury désignera l’équipage le plus authentique.
Penalties - 1 dab = 1 point, 2 dabs = 2 points, footing = 3 points, failure or missing, stationary balancing or rolling backwards = 5 points. In case of a tie, the advantage will be given to the rider having completed the highest number of sections without penalty. If results are still equal, the older rider will have the advantage / Pénalisations - 1 pied à terre = 1 point, 2 pieds = 2 points, plusieurs pieds = 3 points, échec ou refus, déplacement latéral à l'arrêt ou recul = 5 points. En cas d'ex-aequo, départage au nombre de zéros; en cas d'égalité, le pilote le plus âgé a l'avantage.
Lap - entirely in private zone, motorbike’s registration is not necessary. 3 x 1 km, old style sections. No ground clearance problems for the classic bikes, no turns where the use of the clutch is necessary / Parcours - entièrement en circuit fermé, l’immatriculation n’est pas nécessaire; 3 x 1 km, zones tracées à l’ancienne; pas de problèmes de garde au sol pour les motos classiques, et pas de virages où il faut se servir de l’embrayage.
Registration fee (pay at start) / Droit d’engagement (à payer sur place) : Saturday/samedi = 30€; Sunday/dimanche = 30€
HILL CLIMB ‘Bob Edgar Trophy' (optional - facultatif)
Départ dans l'ordre des catégories, dans l'ordre inverse des inscriptions. 3 montées tour à tour. Le pilote qui monte le plus haut est déclaré vainqueur. Pour le classement scratch, en cas d'ex-aequo, départage par addition des 3 montées, puis par une montée supplémentaire si nécessaire. En cas d'ex-aequo dans les classements par catégorie, par addition des 3 montées, puis par l'âge du pilote. Coupes aux 3 premiers du classement scratch et au premier de chaque catégorie.
Starting by category order and in reverse order of registration. 3 climbings, each pilot after the other. The pilot climbing the highest is the winner. For the scratch classification, in case of a tie, results by addition of the points of the 3 climbings, and then by an additional climbing if needed. In case of a tie in the classification by category, by addition of the points of the 3 climbings, then by age of the pilot. Rewards to the first 3 of the scratch classification and to the first of each class.
